XDR’s Digital Radiographic Imaging System is a product of Cyber Medical Imaging, Inc.,
a company dedicated to development of advanced technologies for medicine and dentistry.
XDR was developed over the past 10 years by the company’s founder and CTO, Dr. Douglas C. Yoon.

In addition, the ergonomic and functional features of XDR were co-designed by Dr. Adam Chen, DDS,
who is an actively practing general dentistry in West Los Angeles. It is this rare combination of
clinical foresight and modern technological know-how that gives XDR its novel look and feel.

Dr. Yoon has a unique educational background that includes dentistry, mathematics and physics.
He has over 20 years of technical experience in the aerospace industry and over 15 years of
experience in digital radiography, which includes time as a faculty researcher in Oral Radiology
at the UCLA School of Dentistry. While in the industry, Dr. Yoon developed the first
automated caries recognition system for digital radiographs to be approved by the FDA.

XDR takes digital imaging to the next level and embodies Dr. Yoon’s ardent goal of
making advanced computer-based technologies more accessible and clinically relevant
to the dental practitioner.
